Two questions

I have a podfic I’d like to sign up with that’s 5,159 words which feels more like 0-5K than 5-10K...can this just be participants choice or do mods have a preference?

If you sign up with an additional ao3 acct, I assume this is just for tracking purposes and it’s fine to transfer the work to your main after? Are you collecting double sign ups usernames for matching purposes?

Can I get a fearbuddy even if I write in another language than English?

Yes! It would be ideal if you could indicate what language(s) you're writing in using the optional details box. For types of support that are more accountability than beta-ing, that should be no obstacle. But if you are looking for a beta, you might have to go out as an initial pinch hit, with the knowledge that the skill set to help you out is probably less common than that for an English-language writer. Either way, you're welcome to sign up! Both myself and ba_lailah are prepared to moderate the hell out of any problems you have in order to make sure this event isn't exclusionary.

Is there a reason offers are limited to only 5 warnings intead of all 6? I'm equally fine with all of them, so it feels kind of weird picking one to leave off.

Similar question for the number of "fandoms" we can offer, actually -- if we're not offering to collaborate or give feedback, it probably won't matter that much what kind of project the other person is working on, so is there a reason we can only pick 5? Is it just to make matching easier?

The reason is, we messed it up and didn't realize until there were already too many signups to start over. We're very sorry about that!

We set it a bit arbitrarily, expecting that people would be pretty granular with offering different kinds of support for different kinds of projects, and so far that seems to generally be the case. But it's useful to know that you would want to be able to offer more (or maybe even "Any"), and we'll keep that in mind for next year. Thanks for the feedback, and sorry the signup form isn't more welcoming to the kind of fearbuddying you want to be doing.

It's cool, I can work with it! Mostly I didn't pay attention to the offer limits when I first filled out the form, so I picked too many, and then when the error message came up I thought the limit seemed kind of low, so I was wondering what the reasoning was. Thanks for explaining! (And it's interesting that other people have been more granular with it so far, I didn't realize I was an outlier for wanting to tick all the boxes, lol.)

But yeah, in future iterations I'd personally appreciate having a higher limit or an Any option for the "fandoms", if that wouldn't be too much trouble on your end.

Matching is easier when people can offer more things, so we'll definitely keep it in mind for next year! Thanks for the suggestion.
